A few things we can offer…

ONE

BAT

BAT stands for Behaviour Adjustment Training.

It is a protocol for working with fearful, frustrated or reactive (aggressive) dogs.

BAT was developed by Grisha Stewart and is continuously updated and revised by Grisha. You can learn more about it from the video on this page.

In 2014, Jo trained with Grisha in the UK to become a Certified BAT Instructor (Knowledge and Skills Assessed) - otherwise known as a CBATI(KSA).

BAT is not always suitable for all dogs and circumstances so an assessment is always required.

TWO

Fear-Free husbandry

Jo is a Fear-Free Certified Professional Trainer.

This means she has completed a training in co-operative care.

’Co-operative care’ involves teaching animals to accept and co-operate during procedures such as injections, blood-draws, physical exams, temperature-taking, grooming, nail-clipping - and more.

In the video on the right, you can see two dogs in one of our classes being trained for a blood-draw.

If your dog experiences fear, anxiety or stress at the vet or groomer - or when you need to groom or clip nails - please get in touch.

THREE

Behavioural quals

Jo has passed the Compass Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management.

She is a Professional Canine Behaviour Consultant - Accredited.

Next steps?

We offer individualised programmes to help dogs with behavioural issues. To be able to design a schedule for your dog, we first need to assess your dog and diagnose the problem behaviour. Please get in touch. You’ve got this!

“My dog was lunging and barking at every dog we walked past. He is now able to walk calmly by. I can’t thank you enough.”
